The new sales include Stan and Nine Network (Australia), Movistar Plus+ (Spain), HBO (CEE and Baltics), PCCW for Now TV (Hong Kong and Macau), DPG Media (Belgium), A+E Networks and History Channel (Germany) and Kyivstar TV (Ukraine).
Cuarzo Producciones, part of Banijay Iberia, will produce the first international adaptation of the show alongside Flooxer for Atresplayer, the streaming platform of Atresmedia.
The company closed deals in Spain, Portugal, Scandinavia, Benelux, Czech Republic, former Yugoslavia, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Wild Bunch will release the film in the German-speaking territories.
This makes it the world's first broadcaster to transmit its main TV channel in Ultra High Definition on DTT, covering its entire national territory. Free-to-air, without subscriptions, and available to all citizens.
The deal is with production company Boxfish and the local name is going to be "López y Leal contra el canal". It will be produced by Boxfish for Atresmedia TV.
