Talpa Network’s SBS9 channel will be rebranded as Viaplay TV from April 5 and will show selected content from Viaplay’s premium sports portfolio.

"Million Dollar Island" is an adaptation of the format by bTV Media Group, while "No Way Back" sees Talpa partnering with Banijay-owned Bunim/Murray Productions & The Natural Studios for the American adaptation.

The show has been ordered and will be locally produced by Turkish company ATV. The fourteen weekly primetime episodes are set to air on ATV in the summer of 2024.

Spanish company has picked up the format to air it on Antena 3 this year. The production will take place in Talpa Studios’ hub location in the Netherlands in collaboration with Spanish producer Warner Bros.

The first episode of the adventure reality show got great numbers on SBS6, with an average market share of 17,3% in the 25-59 demo.
