The eco-thriller, portraying the story of four activists investigating the activities of a mining company operating in the Amazon Rainforest, will be available on VRT NU, a FVOD platform of public broadcaster VRT of the Flemish Community in Belgium.

The show will be distributed worldwide, excluding commissioning partners Milkshake! in the UK and Ireland, SVT in Sweden, YLE in Finland and VRT in Belgium.

Channel 2 Iceland and Glassriver confirmed the production of this new eight-part drama series in association with All3Media International, who also confirmed a presale partner in VRT Belgium.

The Snowed-In production will air on NPO in the Netherlands, on YLE in Finland, DR in Denmark, VRT in Flemish Belgium, and Nove TV in Greece and Cyprus, following its recent AMC Networks deal.

The fiction series is inspired by the aftermath of the attacks of 22 March 2016 at Brussels Airport and is internationally distributed by Newen Connect.
