ZDF Studios created the position of Director International Content Partnerships, and appointed Jeffrey Haverkamp to the role, with effect from May 1, 2023.

The event thriller was acquired by SKY UK and is set to be broadcast on SKY Max later this year. Negotiations with an US-partner are in the final stages. Movistar+ Plus also acquired the show for Spain. Beta Film and ZDFStudios are handling world sales.

ZDF Studios, together with Tom Gamlich and Jan Fritzowsky, is founding Content Laden, a new company that will focus on the development and production of innovative and high-quality factual entertainment formats.

ZDF Studios revealed its lineup of scripted and unscripted content along with a range of junior titles ahead of MIPTV 2023, leaded by eco-thriller series "The Swarm."

Warner Bros. Discovery Poland’s Dorota Eberhardt, Firefly’s Ivana Mikovic and K7 Media’s David Ciaramella are the latest speakers to be announced for the event. Scheduled for June, the event will welcome a slate of buyers and coproducers, including RTL and ZDF.
