The Call of the “Italian Film Commissions & Netflix per the Troupe” Fund set up by Netflix and IFC - Italian Film Commissions for the support to the workers and crews involved in the Coronavirus pandemic crisis is now available online on the website www.italianfilmcommissions. it
The support fund is aimed at workers hired in the audiovisual production crews interrupted due to the Covid-19 emergency according to the criteria established in the regulation available on the site of the Italian Film Commissions.
Applications for contributions can be sent starting May 28th via the https://fondoifcnetflix.it/ platform. The deadline for submitting applications is 11 June.
The individual contribution envisaged is € 800 and will be paid until the Fund is exhausted, based on the date of submission of the applications.
The one million euro "Italian Film Commissions & Netflix per the Troupe" fund is part of Netflix's broad global action in support of the audiovisual sector hit hard by the health emergency linked to Covid-19. The collaboration with Italian Film Commissions wants to be a concrete sign of proximity to the territory and, thanks to the involvement of the regional Film Commissions, it allows to reach the operators of the audiovisual sector throughout the Italian territory, which expresses professionals of great talent, professionalism, and creativity.
