ABC Australia's "Take 5" to premiere on ABC TV and ABC iview

ABC Australia confirmed that "Take 5's" debut on ABC TV and ABC iview on Tuesday, 20 September at 8 pm. The project will be hosted by Zan Rowe as she brings her popular award-winning Double J radio show and podcast, "Take 5" with Zan Rowe to screens when it premieres Tuesday, 20 September at 8 pm on ABC TV and ABC iview. "Music, just like smell or taste, is sensory memory," As Zan said. "We’ve all had those experiences where we hear a song and we’re transported back to an exact moment in our life.”

Using music as the blueprint to the lives of each guest, expect intimate, revelation-fueled conversations that cast popular people through a new perspective. Across five episodes, the show will describe various icons in music and screen join Zan to delve deep into intimate moments in their lives as they share five songs they love and explore their connection to this curated soundtrack of their lives.

From acclaimed actor Guy Pearce exploring the impact of losing his father at a young age to music icon Keith Urban sharing his unexpected passion for electronic music and the story of finding himself at rock bottom with nothing to lose. And in a deeply personal conversation, Missy Higgins opens up to Zan in an extraordinary interview you won’t forget.
