Eva Kamin will take over as Vice President Acquisitions and Coproductions ZDF on 1 July, replacing Volker Lehmann, who is retiring. Volker Lehmann, Vice President Acquisitions and Coproductions ZDF at ZDF Studios, will retire at the end of June to pursue new challenges. He has worked for ZDF Studios for more than 30 years in the field of license acquisition for ZDF and the ZDF family of channels. Since 2013, he has been head of the ZDF acquisitions and co-productions department, which negotiates the commercial terms of all ZDF fiction and documentary acquisitions and co-productions on behalf of ZDF, as well as licenses for the family of channels. This includes the Franco-German cultural channel ARTE as well as 3sat, Phoenix, the children's channel, and ZDF's digital channels ZDFneo and ZDFinfo.
Eva Kamin, a lawyer by training, holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Media Law from the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. Since June 2006, she has been a corporate lawyer at ZDF Studios, responsible for contract management for ZDF and ZDF Studios. In 2011, she moved to the Acquisitions and Coproductions department, where she was most recently responsible for fictional licenses and international co-productions in the area of series, as well as framework agreements and partnerships on behalf of ZDF.
