Abacus Media Rights recently introduced the new comedy-drama "Faithless" to the international market. The series is a Media Musketeers Studios/Entourage Ventures collaboration with Grand Pictures for Virgin Media. "It is very exciting to see Faithless come to life with the backing of such a great co-production and distribution team," Emmy-Award-winning Baz Ashmawy said. "The story of any family, be it Black, Buddhist, White, Irish, Muslim, or any other combination, and the individual identity that comes from belonging, is complicated wherever in the world you are.  We are sure this humorous yet bitter-sweet and poignant look at multi-cultural families will resonate with audiences, not just in Ireland, but around the world.”

Created, co-written by, and starring Baz, the six-part tale tells the story of three young sisters living in Dublin and their Irish/Egyptian dad who, after a tragic incident, is raising them alone. That is until his irresponsible younger brother moves in to ‘help’ and never leaves. Meet the Amin family—the new fighting Irish.

Co-written by Mandy McKeon and Stefanie Preissner, the series, which is filmed in Ireland, is directed by Declan Recks and co-produced by Grand Pictures and Media Musketeers.  “This is a thoughtful and funny series that has all the hallmarks for international success," Jonathan Ford, Managing Director of Abacus, said. "We are thrilled to take it to market so it can reach the widest possible audience.”
