In a moment of a big demand for content, Filipino distributor ABS-CBN is offering a range of dramas with international appeal. One of the new titles is the family drama “Love Thy Woman”.  Dana and Jia are stepsisters of half-Chinese, half-Filipino decent being groomed to work and someday head the multi-million real estate business their father established.

Despite having different upbringings, both of them grew up possessing charm and intelligence.  Jia got her degree in interior design in a local university, while Dana finished Architecture in California where she fell in love with a fellow Chinese named David.  This encounter soon led to a grand nuptial between the two families, which unfortunately ends in a tragic car accident causing Dana to fall into a deep coma.  After nearly a year of fruitless attempts to induce Dana out of the coma, her family reached a decision to soon end her suffering.  During this emotionally-trying times, Jia and David formed an unlikely friendship that eventually blossomed into love.

Another great title is an action drama “A Soldier’s Heart” that tells the story of seven individuals, each with their own story to tell, that choose to walk the path of a soldier.  Alex is a man who’s always dreamed of joining the military, despite being prevented to by his adoptive father and opposition from Elmer, his own brother.  Abe is a Muslim man out to prove that true Muslims are not terrorists, just as Lourd is a woman determined to show everyone that gender is irrelevant to the service of protecting innocent lives. In contrast, Michael joins the military wanting to better the lives of his poor family, whereas Phil enlists out of pure curiosity. Jethro, however, feels like it is his obligation to be a soldier only because his father is a general; while Benjie joins the army after his brother was killed in an ambush.

During training, they all cultivate a bond that eventually leads to them becoming Scout Rangers, one of the most elite special forces in the country. But when one mission goes awry and Alex is abducted by a rebel leader, their values as soldiers are tested by those with their own goals to fulfill.

ABS-CBN is also offering another action drama calls “Fists of Fate”. JC and Aris are fraternal twins who share a strong bond of brotherhood. But while Aris is a strong and athletic boy, JC has a heart condition that slowly worsens each day. As a result, their parents, Joan and Eugene, shower JC with more attention causing Aris to be a little envious. Unfortunately, reality soon sinks in with time running out to come up with the money needed for JC's immediate treatment. In an act of desperation, Joan makes the heavy decision to give Aris up for adoption and receives a hefty sum in return. JC's operation ends up being successful, but he soon learns about what it took to save his life and blames himself for what he believes happened to his brother. Aris, however, escapes from the people who adopted him but becomes a thieving street kid just to survive. One day, he crosses the path of a syndicate boss named Ulysses, who sees the potential in grooming him as an heir and later adopts and renames him “Leo”. Years pass and JC grows up to be a moral law enforcement agent while Leo becomes the head of his own crime syndicate. When JC is soon assigned to investigate a prostitution ring, little does he realize that this path will reunite him with the brother he lost.

The last one attractive title is the family drama “Our Home”. The Mabunga Family, a reflection of a normal, everyday household, is a fun-loving home headed by Fernan and his loving wife Luz. Their family tree is a large one, with eight children: Chico, Beri, Apol, Persi, Peachy, Lemon, Cherry, and Pongky.

Chico is the definition of the eldest child. A responsible brother, he is his family's problem-solver willing to help them whenever he can. Especially since Fernan has worked abroad their whole lives, and Luz raised them all on her own. However, this dedication to his family hides Chico's real desire: to feel like he belongs.

Years ago, when they were children, Chico's brother Jack died because of an accident that Chico has blamed himself for ever since. Adding to his insecurity is the fact Luz sent him away to live with his grandparents and began treating him differently compared to his other siblings. Soon enough though, Fernan finally returns home. Having always idolized his father, Chico sees this as the start of a new chapter in their family's lives. But that ray of hope is soon dimmed when a shocking secret threatens to split their very foundation apart.
