Alejandro Issa Benítez joins Endemol Shine Boomdog

Endemol Shine Boomdog, a division of Banijay Americas, has named Alejandro Issa Benitez Vice President of Business Development and Head of Digital. Previously Director of Global Marketing and Customer Experience at eCommerce aggregator Valoreo, the executive will now lead all digital and business development for the Mexico City-based studio.

Endemol Shine Boomdog produces many of the top unscripted and scripted series in Mexico, Latin America and the US Hispanic marketplace, including “Mira Quién Baila” (Univision), “MasterChef México” (TV Azteca), “Me Caigo de Risa” (Televisa), “Todo por Lucy” (Amazon Prime), "Se Rentan Cuartos" (Comedy Central Latinoamerica’), “¿Quién es la Mascara!” (Televisa), "Tu Cara Me Suena" (Univision), "MasterChef Latinos" (Estrella), and "La Casa de los Famosos" (Telemundo).

Prior to his time with Valoreo, Issa Benitez was Head of Traffic and Marketing Technologies for Amazon in Mexico, developing and executing all automated marketing initiatives in the country across digital channels. Previously at Amazon, he led the commercial team overseeing books, video games, music, movies and software businesses.
