All3Media promoteD Jennifer Askin to EVP, Americas, strengthening regional leadership

Askin steps into the expanded role following major North American deals on Midsomer Murders, The Traitors, and Trigger Point, while Whitney Muroff joins as VP and Cristina Smith earns a promotion, reinforcing All3Media’s growth strategy across the Americas.

Leading independent distributor All3Media International announced that is promoting Jennifer Askin – currently Senior Vice President, North America – to Executive Vice President, Americas, as Sally Habbershaw departs to relocate to the UK. As EVP, Americas, Askin will be responsible for managing the New York-based Americas team of All3Media International, maximising exploitation of the UK distributor’s multi-genre portfolio across the region. All3Media International also announced that Cristina Smith is being promoted to Manager, Sales and Commercial Strategy, North America, having joined the Americas team in 2022.

Askin joined All3Media International in 2021 as SVP, North America and has been managing sales across the US and Canada. During this time, she has brokered numerous major deals including the management of long-running brands such as Midsomer Murders, Brokenwood Mysteries and Doc Martin with Acorn TV, deals with Britbox across drama such as Trigger Point and factual entertainment hits including Race Across the World and premium factual pre-sales for acclaimed natural history producer Silverback’s Parenthood to PBS for its Nature strand, produced by WNET. In Canada, Askin worked with Bell Media to successfully launch global format success The Traitors, brokering an innovative deal for a dual language local production deal and as well as selling a record number of the hit show’s international editions.

A highly experienced senior content distribution executive, Askin’s other positions in the industry include senior roles at Kew Media Distribution, Alfred Haber Distribution, and 4Kids Entertainment. Prior to working in distribution, Jennifer worked in network and cable news, with positions at ABC News, NBC News and MSNBC in New York and London.

The New York office will also see the arrival of Whitney Muroff as Vice President, North America. Most recently at Warner Brothers Discovery, working across content acquisitions and special projects for Discovery+ and Max, she was also Senior Director, Global Content Acquisitions & Co-Productions at Filmrise. Muroff previously was Manager of Content Sales and Distribution for BBC Studios in New York. Muroff will bring her broad experience and deep knowledge of the US market across both sales and acquisitions, as well as her considerable co-production experience, to the Americas team.
