All3media International has signed three new high-volume deals in the CEE region for its factual entertainment content. The acquisitions, made by Russia’s First HDTV, ITI Neovision in Poland, and BBC Poland include a diverse range of new and library programming led by key factual entertainment faces, such as Horticulturist Monty Don, Alan Titchmarsh, and Guy Martin. “These three new deals in the region perfectly demonstrate the ongoing appeal of premium factual entertainment content across a variety of genres,” Ben Packwood, Senior Sales Manager for CEE at All3media international said.
Russia’s First HDTV picked up 70 hours of content, including three titles presented by Monty Don, a series eight of “Gardeners’ World,” series three of Lion Television's “Big Dreams, Small Spaces” and Blink Films’ two-part special, “Monty Don’s Japanese Gardens,” and “Love Your Garden,” presented by Alan Titchmarsh. Russia will also acquire Lion Television’s “The Truth About Sleep” and “The Truth About Carbs,” Tin Roof Media’s “The Truth About Stress” and Maverick Television’s “The Sticky Truth About Sugar.” Maverick Television’s challenge series “Escape,” led by Ant Middleton is also featured in the deal. The first HDTV will air a collection of Lion Television documentary specials from the all3media international catalog, including “Bomber Boys” and “Battle of Britain,” both of which feature Ewan and Colin McGregor. “Secrets of the Chinese Chariots” will also be featured alongside Guy Martin’s “WW1 Tank” from North One Television. “Rat Bastards” and “Me, My Selfie and I: With Ryan Gander” is also featured in the catalog.
Kuchnia+ took North One’s travelogue, “Eddie Eats America,” featuring “World’s Strongest Man” winner Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall. Canal+ picked the third season of “Snackmasters” from Optomen Television, which shows Fred Sirieix hosting a cooking challenge like no others, and lastly, “Drowning in Plastic” and “Meat: A Threat to Our Planet?” Home and gardening-themed content with Monty Don will be also be included in all3media international’s latest deal with ITI Neovision’s factual channels in Poland. Domo+has picked up a package totaling 66 hours, which also includes series eight of “Gardeners’ World,” Monty Don’s “Japanese Gardens” and “Love Your Garden,” as well as Monty Don’s “American Gardens.” In addition, ITI Neovision secured twenty hours of content with all three series of Amazing Productions’ “Ugly House to Lovely House” with George Clarke and renewed “Big Dreams" and “Small Spaces."
BBC Brit, BBC Earth, and BBC Lifestyle BBC Studios in Poland lined up a range of adventure titles that adventure the world, including Studio Lambert’s competition series “Race Across the World.” The deal includes the first two series, plus the third series on pre-sale. “Ski A&E,” which joins the lifesaving experts at a ski resort in the French Alps and travels to Poland, is also included alongside Swan Films special “The Last Igloo.” Motorcycle racer, mechanic and daredevil, Guy Martin features in the deal with two North One productions secured, “Our Guy in Japan” and “Great Escape.” The broadcaster also renewed health and wellbeing specials “The Truth About…” Gordon Ramsay led the series “Kitchen Nightmares.” “Whether the titles are brand new or from our catalog, following extraordinary adventures around the world or inspiring transformations closer to home, they offer perfect escapism and entertainment for a broad spectrum of viewers,” Packwood said.
