"The Tinies"
Canal+ has revealed exclusive first excerpt of the new animated series "The Tinies" (52x11' + 52x3') from MIAM! animation. At the same time, the French prodco announced that the series has been commissioned by Flemish public broadcaster VRT / Ketnet. MIAM! is happy to welcome on board Belgian producers Panique! and Lunanime to coproduce the show.
"The Tinies" is a character-driven sitcom comedy, which aims to entertain upper preschoolers and give them the taste for upcycling. In addition to the 11-minute series, 52x3' stop motion tutorials will be produced so that children can learn how to reproduce at home the crafts they’ve seen in the series.
"The Tinies" is made in France by MIAM! studio and is primarily created using real-time CGI (Unreal Engine 5.3), allowing a photo-realistic rendering that aligns with the series concept, as children can easily recognize everyday packagings. Thanks to this innovative pipeline, the estimated global carbon footprint of the show amounts 133 tons eqCO2. To make this calculation, MIAM! studio used the Carbulator, the carbon footprint calculator dedicated to the animation industry and developed by Anim France, the French union of independent producers.

Distributed worldwide by MIAM! distribution, "The Tinies" has already been pre-bought by several international broadcasters, including TV5 Monde, Télé-Québec (Canada), RTE (Ireland), LTV (Latvia), ERR (Estonia) and Bein (MENA).
