Autentic Studios produces documentary “The Science of Hope” with Jane Goodall

Autentic Studios started with the production of the documentary “The Science of Hope” (WT) with world-renowned scientist and conservationist Jane Goodall. The film is directed by Philipp Grieß ("Expedition Arktis" and the director of photography is Emmy award-winner Tobias Corts ("The Ivory Game").

Jane Goodall, Ph.D., DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, said: "Everyone one of us makes an impact on the planet every day, and we get to choose what impact we make."

Tom Zwiessler, Producer and Head of Autentic Studios, added: "We have embarked on a worldwide search for stories that inspire hope. With this documentary, we aim to show that, beyond the daily doomsday mood, there is also another perspective – one that is essential for the survival of humanity.”

The German broadcasting partner of the international production is ProSieben. The production is funded by the Film- und Fernsehfond FFF Bayern and supported by the Deutsche Stiftung für Engagement und Ehrenamt. An international version will be globally distributed by Autentic Distribution starting in autumn 2025.
