Banijay Benelux's Scenery names Anouk Kamminga Head of Non-Scripted

The executive will be responsible for building the company’s strategy and oversee the pace and quality of all productions.

Banijay Benelux has made a new senior appointment at Amsterdam-based documentary label, Scenery, welcoming Anouk Kamminga to the acclaimed producer’s management team as Head of Non-Scripted. She will assume her new role in October. "Anouk has enormous passion and expertise in developing original and innovative programmes, with an eye for detail, and the ability to discover and nurture talent," Lea Fels, Partner/Producer at Scenery said. "She has an excellent industry reputation and we’re extremely pleased she is joining Scenery this autumn.”

In this new position, Kamminga will be tasked with building the company’s strategy alongside Founder/ Producer Isidoor Roebers, Partner/ Producer Lea Fels and Strategy Director Naique Tanate, and will have a specific remit to ensure the continuity and quality of all productions. 

The excutive joins Scenery from VPRO, where she was a Chief Editor, and during her time at the company she developed and produced a wide range of programmes across multiple genres including knowledge and education, youth and drama. She is credited with contributing to various documentaries, such as "Obada and Pisnicht" the Movie, among others. During her time at VPRO, Kamminga championed talent development and led the successful talent project "Dorst."

The Amsterdam-based media company is behind a range of high-profile projects across multiple platforms including Netflix, Universal, Amazon Prime, NPO, Videoland and Youku. Credits include Human Playground, Spaceship Earth, Ruud Gullit and the Mysterious of Ancient Egypt, Floortje Travels Along, Front Row and Lara. "Scenery has an impressive portfolio of titles, both under its belt, and currently in production," Anouk Kamminga, Head of Non-Scripted at Scenery said.
