Banijay Kids & Family, a global leader in children’s entertainment and the company behind hit shows such as "Totally Spies!" and "Mr Bean: The Animated Series", announced that it is representing global distribution rights for the iconic edutaining saga "Once Upon a Time..." The news follows the majority acquisition of Procidis last year, which also led to a raft of sales across the portfolio.
France Télévisions has renewed its deals for "Once Upon a Time... Life", "Once Upon a Time... Man", "Once Upon a Time... The Discoverers", and "Once Upon a Time... The Explorers"; "Once Upon a Time... Objects" has been picked up by China’s UYoung; and Mediawan Thematics has secured "Once Upon a Time... Space" for select French-speaking channels across Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific.
In addition, OneGate Media has acquired the DVD license for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, along with sub-distribution and all VOD rights for "Once Upon a Time... Life", "Once Upon a Time... Man", "Once Upon a Time... Planet Earth", "Once Upon a Time... Space", "Once Upon a Time... The Americas", "Once Upon a Time... The Discoverers", and "Once Upon a Time... The Explorers". France Vision Service has taken "Once Upon a Time... The Explorers" for an inflight deal.
