Martha Brass
BBC Studios Productions has appointed Martha Brass as Chief Operating Officer. Reporting to Ralph Lee, CEO of BBC Studios Productions, Brass will work alongside Lee and with key stakeholders across BBC Studios and the BBC Group to deliver Studios Productions’ growth plan and meet the needs of its pool of clients.
In her new role, Brass will be responsible for the overall BBC Studios Productions P&L, providing leadership and oversight of commercial and business development activities. She will also be accountable for business operations and production across all BBC Studios Productions bases.
Brass joins from the Newen Group, one of France’s largest producer-distributors of audio-visual content, where she was Director of International Operations. She was previously Chief Executive Officer, International Operations at Endemol Shine Group, which included a dual role heading up Shine France as interim CEO, leading the merger with Endemol France. Prior to the merger, Brass was Chief Operating Officer of Endemol Group. She has also held senior roles with production houses 19 Entertainment and Fremantle.

BBC Studios Productions was the UK’s most commissioned creator of new content in the last financial year, producing for a broad range of broadcasters and services including Apple, Netflix, NBC Universal, Discovery, Channel 4, and Sky, as well as the BBC.
