A local adaptation of the highly successful family entertainment format "The Way Out" will be exclusively available on Prime Video in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as on Amazon Freevee in Germany and Austria. Prime members and Amazon customers in Germany and Austria can expect the show to premiere in spring 2025. The German series will be a co-production between the original creator and producer of the format, Roses Are Blue, and its German affiliate Fabiola, and will be recorded in the hub facilities in Belgium.

"The Way Out" is already established as one of the key, returning big entertainment titles on VTM in Belgium, where a sixth season is currently in production. The same success evolved in the Netherlands, where four successful seasons have already aired, as well as two local adaptations running in Denmark and French-speaking Belgium, and one in the Middle East.

"The Way Out" features two teams of well-known personalities, each sending a duo into two identical rooms full of mysteries to be solved. By figuring out the scientific experiments and cracking the codes, they’re brought a step closer to eventually finding "The Way Out" first! Studio segments feature experts, the hosts, and the celebrity pairs who provide insights, fully engaging viewers and heightening suspense.

Be-Entertainment’s Managing Director, Gepke Nederlof, expressed optimism about the new commission: "'The Way Out' stands for big family entertainment at its best. Each episode’s uniquely themed rooms, crafted by Roses Are Blue, are genuine masterpieces. We’re thrilled about this new commission and hope the show will captivate a fresh audience on Prime Video," commented.
