The commission follows the huge success of "The Political Assembly" on VTM in Belgium where it reached a phenomenal average marketshare of 49.6% (18-44, consolidated) in the weeks before the national elections. The show is created and produced by Bargoens, led by well-known and renowned  TV-maker Eric Goens.

The series has already reached an average market share of 26.2% in the key demo for RTL4 (HHV 25-54, consolidated). It marks an increase of more than +25% vs the primetime channel average market share for the same target.

On air in the run-up to the Belgian parliamentary elections, the format challenges politicians to convene for a full weekend of group debates, one-on-one ‘duels’ and personal confessions.

The program will be premiered next Friday in a key primetime slot and it will be hosted by well known actor Nasrdin Dchar.

The second season of the show kicked-off strong in Denmark; the fourth season of the same format reach a market share of 21.7% and the format is also scoring high ratings in Belgium.
