BLUE ANT MEDIA LAUNCHES CRIMETIME ON ROKU IN CANADA

The titles include “In Ice Cold Blood,” “Snapped: Killer Couples,” “See No Evil,” “Occult Crimes,"  “An Unexpected Killer,” “A Wedding and a Murder.” The launch follows the Free Ad-supported Streaming Television channel.

Blue Ant Media is expanding its streaming footprint with the launch of Crimetime on The Roku Channel in Canada. “As Canadians' options for compelling programming continues to expand, Blue Ant Media is committed to building our content offering in the FAST channel space by partnering with emerging distribution platforms such as The Roku Channel,” says Jamie Schouela, President, Global Channels and Media, Blue Ant Media. 

Now available to Canadians free of cost, Crimetime is the international producer, distributor, and channel operator’s second live streaming service to join the Roku platform in Canada, following its successful debut of its Free Ad-supported Streaming Television channel space with the launch of HauntTV in December 2020. Viewers will have access to both HauntTV and Crimetime on The Roku Channel in the “Live TV” section on their Roku streaming player or Roku TV. 

The titles include Seasons 1 - 3 of “In Ice Cold Blood,” season 12 of “Snapped: Killer Couples,” Season 1 - 4 of “See No Evil,” Season 1 of “Occult Crimes,” Season 1 of  “An Unexpected Killer,” and Season 2 of “A Wedding and a Murder.” “Crimetime unlocks a carefully curated catalog of the best unscripted real-life crime stories and delivers it to a new and engaged audience where fans of this genre are seeking out compelling content to watch for free,” Schouela said.

 Crimetime offers hundreds of hours of premium unscripted true crime, mystery, and investigative programming hours, including “In Ice Cold Blood,” hosted by Grammy Award-winning artist and actor Ice T, the series provides audiences with in-depth interviews, dramatic reenactments and archival footage to shine a light on shocking real-life crime cases murder, “Snapped: Killer Couples,” following America’s most dangerous duos, “See No Evil,” which showcases how real murder cases are solved with the help of CCTV surveillance cameras; and “Occult Crimes,” revealing human sacrifice and satanic ritual scenarios.
