Blue Ant Media has launched a new free-streaming channel, HistoryTime that will debut on LG Channels in the U.S. and Canada. From ancient times to modern events, the channel explores a vast array of topics that give context to moments in history and help put the world in perspective. The launch grants LG Channels’ audiences across North America free access to HistoryTime’s extensive library of exclusive, history-themed programming.

The launch of this channel builds on Blue Ant Media’s momentum and expansion into the emerging free streaming space, while also expanding its existing partnership with LG. HistoryTime joins wildlife and nature channel, Love Nature, true crime channel Total Crime, home renovation channel Homeful and paranormal-themed channel HauntTV in Blue Ant’s growing portfolio of FAST channels.

“Blue Ant has a long history of curating and producing history content and are thrilled to now bring it to free streaming audiences on HistoryTime,” says Jamie Schouela, President, Global Channels and Media, Blue Ant Media. “The channel fills a gap in the FAST environment and our exclusive series and documentaries will satisfy history buffs interested in a wide range of topics.”

Blue Ant Media’s suite of FAST (free, ad-supported streaming TV) channels offer audiences curated, exclusive programming that is free to access on growing platforms like VIZIO WatchFree+, The Roku Channel, Xumo, Samsung TV Plus and PrendeTV.
