Calinos Entertainment has been commissioned to distribute the Turkish version of award-winning Argentinian scripted series “La Chica Que Limpia,” from O3 Medya. Directed by Recai Karagoz, the show, which is locally known as “Farah,” is on air every Wednesday on Fox Turkey’s primetime.
Starring Demet Ozdemir, Engin Akyurek, Firat Tanis, Senan Kara, Lale Basar, Oktay Cubuk, Mustafa Avkiran, and Ali Surmeli, “Farah” is the story of an Iranian woman who had to run away from her country and is struggling to live in Istanbul, working as a cleaning lady in order to maintain the treatment of her son, but turns into a mafia accomplice at the end.
Written by Deniz Dargi, M. Cem Gorgec and S. Cenk Bogatur; “Farah” is the Turkish remake adapted from the original Argentinian drama. The US remake of the original series, entitled “The Cleaning Lady,” is also an award-winner and lately won the “Best Drama of 2022” award by Women’s Image Network.
