Canal+ Distribution, a subsidiary of Canal+ Group, has announced the launch of a curated selection of Korean drama titles on Vivacom in Bulgaria. The move marks a strategic step in the company’s continued expansion of premium Asian content across Europe.

Vivacom, part of United Group—a leading telecom and media provider in Southeast Europe—has acquired both SVOD and Pay TV rights for four highly regarded series produced by CJ ENM. These include "The Devil Judge," "Missing: The Other Side" (seasons 1 and 2), and "Search." The titles are now available to Vivacom subscribers through the VIVACOM Arena channel, the newly launched Arena Action, Arena Comedy, and Arena Life channels, as well as on-demand via Arena Play UP.

Carefully selected and curated by Canal+ Distribution, the chosen series reflect an effort to tailor high-quality global content to regional preferences. The launch in Bulgaria follows Canal+ Distribution’s earlier success introducing Korean dramas to Nova in Greece, as part of its broader strategy to amplify the European reach of Asian content.

“We are delighted to bring Korean series to Vivacom’s subscribers: this launch with Vivacom marks another step in Canal+ Distribution’s long partnership with United Group in Bulgaria and Europe,” said Camille Mury Decouflet, EMEA Distribution Manager at Canal+ Distribution. “Vivacom’s subscribers will discover a few of CJ’s best productions and enjoy the high quality of Korean dramas. This is a new milestone for our distribution of our catalogues in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe.”

Evelin Iliev, Content Acquisition Expert at Vivacom Bulgaria, added: “We’re excited to collaborate with a distinguished partner like Canal+ Distribution. The introduction of Korean series across our platforms, including our newly launched channels – Arena Action, Arena Comedy, and Arena Life – strengthens our strategy to differentiate Vivacom’s TV offer through exclusive, high-quality content. This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to deliver a richer and more diverse viewing experience for our customers.”

This collaboration underscores Canal+ Distribution’s growing role as a key facilitator of Korean content distribution in Europe, leveraging the global surge in popularity of Korean dramas across diverse age groups and markets.
