Digitoonz Media & Entertainment Spain and Morgana Studios announced a groundbreaking partnership to co-develop and co-own the YugiBao brand. This strategic alliance paves the way for the global expansion of YugiBao as an innovative 360º entertainment brand.
Through this collaboration, Digitoonz and Morgana Studios will join forces to create a multiplatform narrative universe, tentatively named "YugiBao," and develop a dynamic roadmap and commercial strategies for the brand. These efforts include the production of new content, global distribution, and cross-platform "phygital" experiences, aiming to amplify the brand's global reach and impact.
The YugiBao intellectual property (IP) is set to roll out in phases targeting various core audiences. The initial phase focuses on developing gaming experiences for popular platforms, aimed at a pre-teen demographic. In a subsequent phase, an animated series will be launched, targeting younger audiences. This series will feature expanded narratives and character development designed to engage children and families. Both phases will be supported by an innovative publishing strategy and a robust consumer products program, encompassing collectible toys, trading cards, and an array of licensed products, creating a comprehensive and immersive experience for fans.
YugiBao originated as an exclusive NFT collection of 1,600 handcrafted 3D characters created by Morgana Studios. Set in a futuristic world, YugiBaos are sentient beings who protect their soft, steamy bodies with “MechBaos”—personal robotic armor designed to shield them from environmental challenges. Each YugiBao boasts a unique personality and individual story, offering a diverse and engaging universe where audiences can explore character-driven, relatable narratives. This rich backstory and fan-centric approach form a strong foundation for YugiBao’s transformation into a multiplatform brand.
