Digitoonz Media & Entertainment and Citrus Ink Studios announced the launch of their new venture, DGX, a VFX studio set to push the boundaries of digital creativity and innovation in the entertainment industry. Operating from its primary base in Noida, DGX aims to harness the full potential of VFX for leading projects with global reach, delivering unique visual experiences that elevate storytelling across animation, films, television, streaming platforms, and gaming.
Under the leadership of Vikas Kumar, Founder and CEO of Digitoonz, and Vrinda Sood, CEO of Citrus Ink Studios, the new venture combines Digitoonz’s global production expertise with Citrus Ink’s renowned creative vision and technological leadership. At its core, DGX focuses on providing premium VFX services tailored to international clients while leveraging India’s competitive tax incentives, combining financial efficiency with creative excellence.
DGX is already engaged in multiple projects and actively planning further international expansions, supported by Digitoonz’s growing global presence, including its established office in the USA and its recent launch in Spain to strengthen its reach in European markets.
Beyond VFX, the studio plans to expand into complementary verticals, including the creation of an Animation Academy to nurture the next generation of talents, the development of original IPs tailored for global audiences, and the enhancement of game design through a cutting-edge approach to create immersive, interactive experiences.
In this joint venture, both Digitoonz and Citrus Ink Studios bring their respective strengths to the table. Digitoonz, with its extensive experience and industry expertise, will oversee day-to-day operations and manage the full production pipeline. On the other hand, Citrus Ink Studios, known for its visionary leadership and creative direction, will play a crucial role in strategic management.
