Eccho Rights has concluded deals with Mediaset in Italy, Imagen Televisión in Mexico and Telefuturo in Paraguay for its Turkish drama show “My Home My Destiny,” produced for TV8 by OGM Pictures, which is the company behind hit dramas “Ömer” and “Golden Boy.”

“My Home My Destiny” broke several ratings records for broadcaster TV8 in 2020, and has been licensed to over 70 countries worldwide so far. In 2020, the show was awarded Best Screenplay at the International Izmir Festival. The series stars Demet Özdemir and Ibrahim Celikkol as the lead couple, with Engin Öztürk portraying the romantic rival in this love triangle drama.

The drama follows Zeynep, a girl who has had a rough start in life but blossoms into a clever, educated and beautiful young woman, engaged to be married to a man from the top of society. However, when her birth mother makes a surprise reappearance in her life, Zeynep considers if this is the life she is destined to lead. She is drawn back to the neighbourhood where she was born, and meets Mehdi, a local hero and a kind man who was friends with Zeynep’s brother when they were kids. Plans are swiftly made to marry the two. Although not sure if she is ready to give up on her adoptive family and the life they have given her, Zeynep chooses to go ahead with the wedding, unable to deny the chemistry between her and the handsome and humble Mehdi.

“‘My Home My Destiny’ is a modern Turkish drama classic, with an all-star cast, that has a massive appeal to audiences worldwide,”  assured Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama at Eccho Rights.
