Escapade Media and Tull Stories to release "Big vs Small" doc across the UK

The UK deal follows the Finnish film’s prestigious opening night at The London Surf Film Festival and award for “The Spirit of the Festival”.

Escapade Media has secured an all-rights deal with UK film distributor Tull Stories to release Finnish feature documentary "Big vs Small" across the UK. The UK deal follows the film’s prestigious opening night at The London Surf Film Festival and award for “The Spirit of the Festival”. Tull Stories will release "Big Vs. Small" into UK Cinemas later in 2022, and it will be also be released by Tull Stories On Demand.

Jonny Tull, Founder of Tull Stories says: “'Big Vs. Small' is the perfect Tull Stories release. It tells a story about humans and human connection which transcends the sports genre. We know that this film will inspire everyone who watches it and we’re very much looking forward to working closely with Minna Dufton on presenting it to audiences in the UK & Ireland. I’m very grateful and humbled to have Tull Stories representing 'Big Vs. Small' in our part of the world.”

The film has made an impact around the globe, and has won 9 awards to date. It follows the true story of professional Portugues surfer Joana Andrade, who has surfed Nazaré waves, in a documentary filmed by Minna Dufton.
