FOX Weather, FOX News Media’s free ad-supported streaming television weather platform, has expanded its distribution to include Pluto TV, announced Sharri Berg, president of the service.
In making the announcement, Berg mentioned that the agreement arises within the framework of critical climatic conditions: “As we head into the heart of an already unprecedented hurricane season, we are thrilled to bring FOX Weather’s premium live weather news service to Pluto TV users at this critical time. With this new partnership, FOX Weather is now available on all major FAST platforms with more live programming than any other weather network to keep our viewers informed, prepared and safe," he stated.
FOX Weather is available to Pluto TV users through its News and Opinion section or by searching for it directly through its search bar. Pluto TV is streamed across major mobile, connected TV and web devices and its users will have free access to view FOX Weather’s dedicated team of meteorologists anytime and anywhere.
Since launching in October 2021, FOX Weather has added a number of distribution partners including Samsung TV Plus, Verizon Fios, The Roku Channel, Fubo, YouTubeTV, YouTube.com, Amazon News, DIRECTV STREAM, Xumo Play, Hulu + Live TV, TCLtv+, DISH Network and Sling TV, among others. The service continues to be available via simulcast each morning on FOX Business Network (5-6 AM/ET) as well as via FOX Television Station Diginets in top markets including New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, among others.
