Global broadcasters pick up unscripted titles from Woodcut International

The Indie distributor has sold multiple programs to BBC Select (owned by BBC Studios), Viasat World, SVT, and Dox TV among others.

Woodcut International has finalised multiple sales with key international broadcasters who have snapped up numerous unscripted titles covering factual, history and true crime content. BBC Studios' BBC Select has taken a package of over 20 hours of programming which includes titles such as "World War II: Women on the Frontline", "A Royal Guide To… (K)nox: The Rob Knox Story", "The Man Who Took Shannon Matthews" and "Forgotten War Stories."

MagellanTV in the US took a package totalling 38 hours that included "Football: A Brief History by Alfie Allen", "The Underground Army", and "Murder Casebook" for its streaming platform, whilst Blue Ant Media picked up "Murder Casebook" for its FAST channel.

In Europe, SVT (Sweden) and Viasat World (Poland and wider Scandinavia, CEE footprint), took "World War II: Women on the Frontline", and La7 (Italy) picked up "A Royal Guide To.." (Season 1), with streamer Dox TV (Hungary) taking a 58-hour programming package that featured "Surviving A Serial Killer", "How I Caught The Killer", "(K)nox: The Rob Knox Story" and "The Underground Army."

In the Middle East, Al Jazeera acquired "Forgotten War Stories." Finally, the specialist arts streamer Marquee TV (US/UK) picked up the filmed theatrical productions "Touching the Void", and "Wuthering Heights."
