"Wild Zambezi"
Gary R. Benz, CEO of GRB Media Ranch, announced that the company has licensed five seasons of its signature series, "Untold Stories of the E.R.," to Discovery USA, as well as global rights for its wildlife docuseries, "Wild Zambezi," to German broadcaster Quintus.
Discovery USA Pay TV has acquired the most recent five seasons of GRB’s flagship medical emergency reality docuseries, "Untold Stories of the E.R." Produced for 13 seasons, the series has been a repeat acquisition for Discovery. Produced by GRB Studios, this gripping medical docuseries reenacts intense real-life emergency room stories, showcasing high-stakes medicine where every second can be a turning point. The series has been broadcast in 214 territories and has generated strong interest as a format.
Germany’s Quintus has acquired worldwide FAST (non-exclusive) rights for the nature docuseries "Wild Zambezi." This series takes viewers on a journey through the lesser-known Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, highlighting the ongoing struggle against the encroachment of civilization and development into wild areas. The documentary reflects a broader global crisis threatening the world's most vulnerable ecosystems.
Benz characterized these agreements as part of the company’s broader strategy.: "GRB Media Ranch’s catalog includes over 5,000 hours of diverse programming. Our recent license deals with Discovery for their U.S. pay TV and with Quintus in Germany exemplify this range. From real-life medical emergencies to wildlife storytelling, we provide content for all audiences. We represent only the best, award-winning programming in the world and are pleased to share it with our partners. As we say at GRB Media Ranch, we’ve got stories," commented.
