Autentic Distribution has closed a series of sales with various international broadcasters, sending documentaries from their extensive factual catalogue across the world. SBS Australia has acquired a 30-hour package from the German factual specialist. This includes the documentaries "Flowers and Fire - Outback Adventures in Western Australia" (45'), "Scotland - The New Wild" (3×50'), as well as "Magical Train Journeys in Switzerland" (8×50').
The "people & places" series, which takes viewers on a journey through Switzerland's beautiful alpine landscapes has also been picked up by Croatian broadcaster HRT, in a package also including "Love & Dolce Vita – History of the Amalfi Coast" (45') by Autentic Studios, "The Magical World of Spices" (4×52') and "The Hidden Beauty of Northern France" (2×52').
Al Jazeera Documentary has acquired an array of documentaries exploring diverse regions around the world such as "The Kingdom of Jordan" (2×45'), "Nepal - A Journey From West to East" (45'), and "In a Sea of Dust And Stars - Hiking Mauritania" (45'), as well as the environmental series "Climate Chronicles" (9×30').
Canal+ in Poland also secured a diverse package for its various channels. Their main channel will feature "Nuclear Power Plants in War Zones – A New Threat?" (52'), "Lethal Weapons – The Future of Drone Wars" (52'), "Sri Lanka – Leopards of Yala" (45'), and "Hot Roads – The World's Most Dangerous Roads III" (6×52'). Canal+ has also picked up several titles for their channel Planete+ including "Golden Kingdom: The Normans In Sicily" (52'), "Uncovering Hitler's Failed Putsch of 1923" (45'), and "On The Precipice: The Alps" (50'). Canal+ Kuchina will feature the newest season of "At our Neighbour's Table" (16×30').
French Ushuaïa TV acquired 18 hours of captivating programming, including "Sri Lanka – Leopards of Yala" (45'), "In The Heart of America" (2×52'), and "World's Most Dangerous Railway Lines" (5×52').
Estonia’s ERR, Latvian LTV, and Asharq Documentary have acquired the current affairs documentary "75 Years of Nato – New Challenges and Chances" (52'), which investigates the history and current challenges of the military alliance.
The wildlife two-parter "Raptors" (2×50'), detailing the remarkable success of the planet’s greatest hunters, has found homes with Japanese Broadcaster NHK, South Korean KBS, and Spanish RTVE, in a 12-hour Terra Mater Studio deal, which also includes "The Wild Sides" (3×50'), "Gorilla Gorilla Gorilla" (50'), "A Cheetah’s Pride" (3×50') and "Patrick and The Whale" (50').
Portugal’s RTP has secured 14 hours of wildlife programming, featuring titles such as "Nature's Changes" (50'), "The View From on High" (50') and "Baltic National Parks" (4×52').
Spafax has enriched its inflight entertainment offerings with "The Wild Sides" (3×50'), "Morava – River of Ancient Times" (50'), "Wild Beauty of Germany's Islands" (2×45'), and science documentary "The Paradox of Salt – Blessing Or Curse?" (52'), while Library Media Solutions has secured the rights to the heartwarming documentary "Cher and The Loneliest Elephant" (50') and Autentic Studio’s "Light and Glamour - History of The French Riviera" (52').
