Italy and Tunisia open call for cinematic co-productions

The Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC) has announced the 2024 Call for Applications to support the development of cinematic co-productions between Italy and Tunisia. The initiative targets fiction, animation, and documentary projects with a runtime exceeding 52 minutes, designed for theatrical release.

The total annual fund amounts to approximately €280,000, with €180,000 provided by the Italian Directorate General for Cinema and Audiovisual and 300,000 Tunisian dinars (approximately €100,000) contributed by the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image in Tunis.

Eligible projects can receive up to €30,000 for majority-Italian productions and up to 50,000 Tunisian dinars for majority-Tunisian productions.
