Katrine Herforth is the new CEO of Danish production company Blu

Fremantle announced Katrine Herforth as the new CEO of Danish production company Blu. Herforth comes from the role as Head of Program at Blu, where she has been a part of the management since 2020, and she has acted as interim CEO since December of last year.

The executive has more than 25 years of experience on TV production with several different roles, such as Commissioning Editor at TV3 and TV2, Head of Program at Discovery, as well as Head of Entertainment at Monday Media, and Head of Program at Warner.

“I am thrilled that Katrine has agreed to accept her promotion in Fremantle. She has a long and successful career in the TV industry, and her background and character fits very well with the Fremantle culture. Her experience and expertise, as well as her management skills, are a perfect match for Blu,”  said Georgette Schlick, CEO of Fremantle Northern Europe.
