Prime Entertainment Group renews the deal with French major network M6 for biographical documentary “The True Story of Angelina Jolie” to air on channel Paris Premiere.

With exclusive interviews and images never seen before, “The True Story of Angelina Jolie” (1x52’) is an exciting doc telling all about the personality, and history of one of the most acclaimed actresses of our times. M6's owned Paris Premiere has just renewed the rights for this program, marking the success of the program on the channel.

Head of Sales, Alexandra Marguerite says “We are glad to strengthen our partnership with M6. It is a true satisfaction to see that our documentaries featuring pop culture icons appeal to the audience of such important partners. We are truly thrilled they trust PRIME in bringing the best quality content to their viewers”.

Paris Premiere is a French TV channel, available on cable, satellite and the digital terrestrial service, TNT. The network is a "high-end" generalist channel focusing mainly in cultural activity. It was launched in 1986 and is now wholly owned by the Group M6.

This renewal follows several others contracts sealed between Prime and Paris Premiere, “Drawing the line a portrait of Keith Haring” (1x28), followed by the biographical doc “The Secret Album of Clint Eastwood” (1x70’), a portrait of the great American actor and film maker and an intimate portrayal of French actor and equestrian “Jean Rochefort” (1x64’). In addition, M6 acquired from PRIME’s crime and investigation catalog the doc “Mohamed Merah, a French terrorist” (1x70’) telling the story of one of France’s terrorist attacks.
