M6+ and Pluto TV closed strategic streaming partnership in France

This long-term collaboration between M6+ and Pluto TV includes M6 content channels on Pluto TV, a new Pluto TV-branded area on M6+, and an advertising agreement to scale the free ad-supported streaming business in France.

M6+, M6's new AVOD platform, and Pluto TV, Paramount’s FAST service, announced the signing of a strategic commercial and editorial partnership that will scale and expand their free streaming and digital businesses in France. Editorially, this partnership will mutually enrich the streaming platforms M6+, Groupe M6's new platform acclaimed by 26 million unique users, and Pluto TV, the global pioneer of FAST and the first FAST service to be launched in France.

In all ecosystems, M6+ users will find 12 Pluto TV content channels, with nearly 3,000 hours of content from the platform's iconic franchises such as “Just Tattoo Of Us,” “Alerte à Malibu”, ”Yu-Gi-Oh!”, “Blue Bloods,” “Olive et Tom,” “MTV Classics” as well as channels dedicated to movies, series, and animations. Moreover, Pluto TV users will benefit from emblematic brands from the French audiovisual landscape, with6 M6 content channels , representing 2,000 hours of content, including references such as “Zone Interdite”, “Turbo”, “Les reines du shopping” and “Les Marseillais.”

In addition, as part of the deal, M6 will become Pluto TV's advertising partner, allowing M6 Publicité to sell the entire Pluto TV inventory in France as part of its portfolio and Pluto TV content accessible on M6+. Paramount Advertising in France will also sell the Pluto TV inventory in the market alongside the M6 advertising team.

Following the partnerships already signed with Konbini and Hayu (NBC Universal), this agreement reinforces the M6+ platform's role as an aggregator of the best digital video content, successfully launched in May 2024. More broadly, it represents a new stage in Groupe M6's digitalization plan.

After transformational partnerships with Corus in Canada and Viaplay in the Nordics, Pluto TV continues to innovate, enriching content for fans and creating new opportunities for clients. This new partnership in France highlights Pluto TV’s success across international markets.
