Global distributor of Turkish dramas Madd Entertainment presented four fresh new series that just launched in Turkey: “Be My Sunshine,” “Love, Reason, Get Even,” “Love Reserved” and “My Dad, My Hero”.

“Madd’s unique position in the market not only means we have the strongest Turkish titles, but that we can turn them around quickly. Turkish drama is a truly international phenomenon.  More and more of our customers want to air the new hit dramas just behind or even right along with Turkish audiences. We’re happy to accommodate them,”  said Ateş İnce, Managing Director of Madd.

Be My Sunshine” is the new romantic drama from Ay Yapim, which premiered June 15 and airs Tuesday nights on Show TV under the Turkish title “Ada Masalı”. The series features red-hot romantic leads Alp Navruz and Ayça Ayşin Turan. Turan plays Haziran, a city girl through and through, devoted to her career and the fast-paced lifestyle of Istanbul.  She cannot imagine any other life, but when her company sends her to a remote Aegean island to clear the way for a new resort, one mistake changes her life forever.

Love, Reason, Get Even” is the hilarious new romantic comedy from Medyapim and No:9 Productions, which just debuted last Friday and Turkey’s Fox network as "Aşk, Mantık, Intikam". The series is adapted from the hit Korean comedy “Cunning Single Lady” and features Burcu Özberk and İlhan Şen, Melisa Döngel and Burak Yörük.

Love Reserved” is a brand-new drama from Ojo Pictures and Ay Yapim. The hit series premiered June 9 on Show TV, where it airs Wednesday nights as “Cam Tavanlar”. In the story, Leyla is a successful career woman who built a national restaurant chain from nothing, but she runs into the glass ceiling when an outsider is brought in to run the division. Worse yet, he is the man who broke her heart at university. Leyla resigns in disgust and starts a new restaurant right across the street, going to war with her former firm and one-time lover.

Lastly, My Dad, My Hero” premiered June 7 and airs Monday nights on Show TV under the Turkish title “Kahraman Babam”. This series is unique for Turkey, blending action, intrigue and family drama in an exciting, emotional package. In the story, Uğur is a veteran firefighter who lost his own wife in a fire. Her family blames Uğur for her death, and now they are fighting in court for custody of his only daughter, Ömrüm. They say he is an unfit father, that he is incapable of taking care of a little girl on his own, and that Ömrüm must be raised in a happy family environment, but all Ömrüm sees is a hero.
