Global distributor of Turkish dramas Madd Entertainment capped this year’s LA Screenings with dozens of sales covering Chile, Argentina, Honduras, the US Hispanic market, and all of Latin America, courtesy of HBO Latin America. Deals ranged from top-rated premium dramas like “Family Secrets,” “Hidden Truth,” “A Woman Scorned,” “All About Marriage,” “Nehir,” “Love Storm,” and “My Dad, My Hero,” to international hit rom-coms like “Love Is In The Air,” “Be My Sunshine,” and “Love, Reason, Get Even.”
“Family Secrets” is one of Turkey’s top-rated hottest dramas and already one of the fastest-selling series on the market today. “Hidden Truth” is also one of the highest-rated prime-time dramas today. “A Woman Scorned,” now in its second season, remains a top-tier show in Turkey and has already won over foreign audiences in more than 65 territories around the world.
Meanwhile, “All About Marriage” is a top-rated drama from MF Yapim broadcast on Turkey’s Fox network. “Love, Reason, Get Even” is a romcom from Medyapim and No. 9 aired on Turkey’s Fox network. “Be My Sunshine” is a romantic comedy from Ay Yapim which features romantic leads Alp Navruz and Ayça Ayşin Turan.
“Love Is In The Air” is the world’s leading romantic dramedy and remains one of the fastest-selling Turkish TV series on the market. “Nehir” is produced by Medyapim and based on the classic film starring Türkân Şoray. “Love Storm” is an Ay Yapim series from the director of the Emmy-winning “Endless Love” and the writer of “Black Money Love.” Lastly, “My Dad, My Hero” is about a firefighter who lost his wife in a fire, for which her parents blame him.
