Keshet International (KI) has unveiled its full slate of programming ahead of Mipcom 2025, presenting a mix of premium scripted titles, high-energy formats, and headline-grabbing factual documentaries. The lineup is designed to strengthen KI’s global sales pipeline across genres, with multiple new launches and high-profile acquisitions.
Kelly Wright, Managing Director of Distribution at Keshet International, stated, “This Mipcom, we’ll be launching four Keshet scripted series, including our riveting drama, ‘Red Alert’; two spin-offs of internationally successful game show formats originally produced for Keshet 12; and a factual slate buoyed by new acquisitions and pre-sale titles identified through our Greenlight: Factual and Formats initiative. We’ve got something for everyone and are looking forward to reconnecting with our clients in person in Cannes.”
Leading the scripted slate is the drama “Red Alert” (4x60’), produced by Lawrence Bender and Bender Brown Productions alongside Green Productions, Keshet Media Group, and the Israel Entertainment Fund. Scheduled to premiere on Keshet 12 and already acquired by Paramount+ for a global release on October 7, the series revisits the events of the October 7 terrorist attack through survivor testimonies, presenting a cinematic portrayal of heroism under siege.
Also premiering on Keshet 12 is the suspense drama “Nutuk” (8x60’), created by Roy Iddan and Nahd Basheir and produced by Yoav Gross Productions. The plot centers on a seven-year-old boy whose past-life memories lead to the unraveling of a cold case, sparking a dangerous cover-up. Directed by Adam Sanderson, the series blends psychological tension with high-stakes conspiracy.
On the comedy front, “Messiah Superstar” (8x30’) is a mockumentary produced by Keshet Germany for JOYN. It follows washed-up '90s Eurodance star Thomas Janowski, played by Florian Lukas, as he clings to his one-hit-wonder fame while staging increasingly absurd comebacks. The series is adapted from the hit format “Messiah,” originally developed for Keshet 12 and Cellcom.
From TF1, the French adaptation “La Belle et le Boulanger” (4x60’) brings Assi Azar’s format “The Baker and the Beauty” to Paris. Produced by Marathon Studio and Terence Films, the romantic comedy stars Amir Hadad as a humble baker whose life is upended by a chance encounter with a glamorous supermodel.
In formats, KI is headlining “Boom! Heist Mode,” a spin-off of the successful “Boom!” franchise, which has been licensed in 22 territories and achieved nine Guinness World Record-breaking seasons in Spain. The new version adds high-stakes twists to the classic safe-cracking game show, where knowledge and timing determine who walks away with the cash.
For younger audiences, KI is introducing “The Search Kids,” a 15-minute adaptation of its physical word search game format. The children’s version adds new interactive elements and music-based challenges. It has already been licensed in Belgium and Spain, with 30 episodes commissioned by Ketnet and over 150 episodes delivered to Aragón TV.
On the factual side, KI has acquired “Ellie Simmonds: Should I Have Children?” (1x60’) from Flicker Productions for ITV1, adding to its catalog of Simmonds-led documentaries. It joins “Ellie Simmonds: A World Without Dwarfism” and the BAFTA-winning “Finding My Secret Family,” forming a compelling package on disability, identity, and family.
From KI’s Greenlight: Factual & Formats initiative, the company is bringing three new documentaries to market. “Hitler’s Favourite Royals” (3x60’), produced by Caledonia TV and based on Dean Palmer’s “Tea with Hitler,” investigates the pro-Nazi sympathies within segments of the British royal family. “Secret Royal Homes” (3x60’), produced by Yeti Productions, explores hidden residences tied to monarchy, while “Subterranean Secrets” (10x60’) from Hello Mary uncovers the mysteries beneath cities and landmarks.
KI has also acquired the ninth season of “Trucking Hell” (20x60’) and the seventh season of “Casualty 24/7” (6x60’), both produced by Crackit Productions for Channel 5 in the UK. These additions bolster KI’s factual pipeline with tried-and-tested returning series that continue to perform well domestically.
