Mistco has announced the addition of a brand new drama, ‘An Anatolian Tale.’ to its catalog. The title is set to be broadcasted on TRT1. “‘An Anatolian Tale’ is a drama that dominates Saturday evenings,” Ayşegül Tüzün, Managing Director of MISTCO said. “In general, TRT has a great success for its brand new titles launched this year.”
The turkish drama, produced by produced by Köprü Film, tells the story of Taner (Berk Atan), a young inventor living in a small town named Gedelli in the middle of Anatolia. Taner and his cousins Veysel and Ramazan finally decide to execute their plans to build an airplane.
While they are waiting for the engineers to show their airplane, rocks fell of Gönül Dağı and blocked the roads. The engineers sent by the company had to return but there was something, Taner did not know. One of the geologists who came to study on Mount Gönül was someone who had left the town many years ago.
Taner’s childhood sweetheart Dilek returns after years of not speaking to Taner. Taner is now amid a moor, three sides of which were surrounded by love. “An Anatolian Tale has leader positions like ‘The Innocents’ and ‘The Great Seljuks: Guardians of Justice,’” Tüzün said. “I believe that the success behind ‘An Anatolian Tale’ is its inspiring, naive, and promising story. We’re all passing through very hard times and the series encourages us to believe that there is always hope.”
