Movistar Plus+ Original's "La Mesías" to premier on HBO in Latin America

Movistar Plus+ International has closed a deal with HBO Latam for the acquisition of  'La Mesías' rights in its territory. The 7 episodes of the series will be seen on the Latin American platform.

"La Mesías" is a Movistar Plus+ Original series in collaboration with Suma Content, written, directed and produced by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo. "La Mesías" is the return of the creative couple, three years after their last release as directors and screenwriters.

Now forming part of Movistar Plus+'s slate of original titles, the production has been presented in the Official Selection of the 71st San Sebastian International Film Festival, garnering positive feedback from the attending critics.

The fiction title tells the story of a mother who, in her delirium, rises her daughters to save the world. The title is announced after "La Llamada," "Paquita Salas" and "Veneno."
