Newen's "A Real Job: Nurses" premiered on Belgium's VTM with great ratings

The show, produced by De Mensen, garnered 593,266 viewers and a share of 28.1%. The debut followed successful runs in Germany and the Netherlands.

Newen Connect recently secured a broadcasting deal for the second season of "A Real Job: Nurses" with Belgium's VTM. The show premiered earlier this month on 13th January."This second season was an intense emotional and fascinating rollercoaster," Demenson's Editor in Chief Sara De Gols, said. "We had the chance to tell different stories. It was absolutely not just a copy of the first season, thanks to different words and new celebrities. The admiration and surprise of the celebrities were honest, and that is the magic of this show. It's contagious."

The first episode of the six-part series, created and produced by De Mensen, based in Belgium, alone garnered 593,266 viewers and a share of 28.1%. The format was also produced in the Netherlands by Tuvalu for SBS6 and in Germany by ProSieben for Sat. 1. "'A Real Job: Nurses' is a fantastic format with obsvious international appeal," Andrew Sime, Head of Format Distribution at Newen Connect, said."After quickly being adapted in Germany and the Netherlands, it's great to see the format recomissioned and performing so well in Belgium."

The show follows five celebrities set on a quest to cure patients at a hospital. Working alongide real medical professionals, the individuals complete a full-day internship, gaining knowledge on the skills and challenges of healthcare. This season features guest star actress Frances Lefebure, actor and TV host Jonas Van Geel, Stefaan Degand, and Nora Gharib, among various others.
