Off the Fence Media (OTF) has announced a set of partnerships with Wildbear Entertainment and Enderley Pictures, as well as closing its first deal with premium factual specialist Afanti Media. “We’re thrilled to be back in Cannes this year, reaffirming our position in the market as part of the World Storytelling Media Group. As we continue to grow, we’re proud to strengthen our collaborations with key producers in the factual content space. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners for their trust and support as we embark on this exciting new chapter alongside our sister company, Insight TV," said Loren Baxter, VP of Acquisitions at OTF.

Under the new partnership with Welsh production company Afanti Media, which produces more than 180 hours of premium content a year for broadcasters including the BBC and S4C, OTF launched "Dark Waters" (1 x 60 mins / 1 x 90 mins) at Mipcom. The in-production documentary for S4C and BBC Wales will deliver in January 2026, just ahead of the 30-year anniversary of the Sea Empress oil disaster in 1996, which disgorged 72,000 tonnes of crude oil off the coast of Wales. Using cutting-edge CGI from the team behind Drain the Oceans, powerful testimony, and rare archive footage, "Dark Waters" combines the pace of a disaster thriller with the urgency of investigative journalism to unravel the truth behind one of the world’s most devastating oil spills.

Enderley Pictures, best known for its bingeable, stranger-than-fiction, and true-crime titles, has awarded OTF the rights to its upcoming docuseries "Staged: Deadly Deceptions" (10 x 60 mins), which has been pre-sold to Crime & Investigation, part of Hearst Networks EMEA. The new series, to be delivered in 2026, examines cases that appear to be straightforward accidents, suicides, or random acts of violence — until investigators start pulling at the seams and the carefully constructed cover stories unravel. Blending cinematic reconstructions, archive footage, and harrowing first-hand accounts, the 10-part series allows audiences to play detective as hidden motives, false narratives, and chilling betrayals come to light.

Other documentaries already on OTF’s slate from Enderley include "Forging Fate: The Disappearing Art Deal" (1 x 60 mins), which chronicles Inigo Philbrick’s journey from respected art dealer to notorious swindler; "The Amazon Review Killer" (2 x 60 mins), which tells the story of Todd Kohlhepp, whose 13-year killing spree was uncovered when investigators followed a ‘digital breadcrumb trail’ of 140 Amazon reviews; and "The Sex Trafficker’s Wife" (2 x 60 mins), which centres on a woman whose perfect life unravels when her husband is arrested for soliciting minors — including their own children — and running an underground sex-trafficking operation.
