Onza Distribution has been appointed global sales agent for "Neuer", a new procedural crime series from Slovak production company KFS Production. The eight-episode series, directed by Michal Kollár and based on the bestselling novels by Václav Neuer, premiered on September 14 on TV JOJ, where it became the most-watched program of the night with a 24% audience share.

Each episode of "Neuer" adapts one of Václav Neuer’s novels, all inspired by real-life criminal cases. The show delivers an unflinching portrayal of homicide investigations through the eyes of Chief Inspector Ledecký, played by Marián Miezga, and his team. Beyond tackling harrowing cases, the series explores the emotional toll on the detectives' personal lives, capturing the psychological strain of working in a high-stakes, morally complex environment.
Shot in a raw and direct style, the series avoids genre clichés to focus on the gritty realities of police work. Through subdued visuals, tense pacing, and authentic character dynamics, "Neuer" offers a noir-inspired narrative anchored in realism—no glamour, just coffee, cigarette smoke, and the cold, methodical pursuit of justice.
“Neuer” will headline Onza Distribution’s scripted lineup at the upcoming edition of Mipcom, where the distributor will also present "Heart Keeper" (telenovela), "Traffic Jam" (comedy), and new documentary series "Vulnerables".
