The Italian Film Commission has announced the open call for the online Co-Productions Meeting Italy/Baltic Countries, which will be held during the 24th edition of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (13 to 29 November).

The Co-Productions Meeting is aimed at Italian Independent Producers interested in co-producing with the Baltic and Nordic countries, with fiction or documentary projects in development that seek or have a potential for co-production with the other country. The project must already provide for the coverage of 30% of the budget.

The pitches will be held in English and the 6 selected Italian projects will be announced on 30 October.

The selection at the co-production meeting will guarantee the Producer's access to all market activities within the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

Interested producers are reminded that since 2019 MiBACT has established the "Development Award for co-production projects between Italy and the Baltic States".

The intent of the promoters of this call is to connect Italian and Baltic producers to facilitate connections and possibly activate a request to the ministry.

The event is supported by the MiBACT DG Cinema, promoted by AGICI, in collaboration with Cineuropa and in partnership with the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
