Pantaya and Pantelion have signed significant multiyear direct-to-platform deals with prominent production companies El Estudio, The Lift, and Traziende Films. Under the terms of the agreement, each company will produce direct-to-platform Spanish-language films to stream in the United States exclusively on Pantaya. Pantelion will serve as the studio on the projects, leveraging its long-standing feature film relationships with the top producers in Mexico.

“In the 10+ year history of Pantelion we have had the pleasure to work multiple times with Diego Suarez, Pablo Cruz and their team at El Estudio, Avelino Rodriguez and his team at The Lift, and the folks at Traziende Films. They are all some of the best in the business and we are delighted to officially partner with them to bring even compelling projects to Pantaya. These companies are leaders and innovators in the world of Spanish-language content, and I look forward to sharing all of the exciting films that are to come with Pantaya’s loyal subscribers,”  stated Paul Presburger, CEO of Pantaya and Pantelion.

El Estudio is a Trans-Atlantic production powerhouse, custom built to create premium programming across multiple platforms, targeting Spanish-speaking media consumers around the world, specifically in Mexico, Spain, Latin America. The US premium comedy “Pena Ajena” (Pantaya), unscripted phenomenon “Las Crónicas del Taco” (Netflix), the docu-reality “Being Pampita” (Paramount+), and the multi awarded feature film “El Baile de los 41” (Cinepolis & Netflix) are the most recent productions of the company.

Meanwhile, The Lift is a team of production specialists based in Mexico, established in 2005, dedicated to empowering creativity by delivering world-class production services. With more than 16 years of experience, The Lift has collaborated with major production companies worldwide such as Prettybird, Somesuch, Reset, Epoch Films, Love Song, and many others.
