Fremantle announced a multitude of global deals for the eagerly anticipated docuseries “Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne.” The six-part series, jointly commissioned by Hulu and the BBC, is set to launch later this year.

From Fremantle’s Naked Television and Cara Delevingne’s Milkshake Productions, the series is set to launch in over 92 territories worldwide, including Prime Video (Canada), RTL (Germany), Viaplay (all Nordic and Baltic countries and the Netherlands), Teva Group M6 (France), Vodafone (Greece), RTL (Hungary), YesDBS (Israel), Channel HOT8 (Israel), TV3 Group (Latvia), Canal+ Poland (Poland), Showmax (South Africa), SBS (Australia), BluTV (Turkey), and PCCW (Hong Kong, Macao). NHK have also come onboard as co-producer of the series in Japan.

“As is evident in the name, ‘Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne’ is a globally relevant series that asks important and provocative questions around human sexuality, that we have not seen on screen before. As Cara joins us for a very special showcase in Cannes, we are thrilled to be sharing her unique vision with audiences around the world via an array of esteemed broadcasters,”  said Jens Richter, CEO of International at Fremantle.

“It’s been amazing to see the incredible response to ‘Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne’ here in Cannes. We are looking forward to introducing it to international audiences with our broadcaster partners, further reinforcing the global appeal of this captivating documentary series,”  commented Simon Andreae, CEO of Fremantle UK and Executive Producer of “Planet Sex.”

“Planet Sex with Cara Delevingne” sees Delevingne, one of the world’s most photographed people and an award-winning LGBTQ+ icon, approach the major questions surrounding human sexuality; visiting communities who view and experience gender and sexuality in hugely contrasting ways and helping people to tell their own unique stories. Uniquely unfiltered and authentic, she also shares her own personal experiences and puts her mind and body on the line to explore the forces that shape our desires.
