Pocket.watch boosts AI investment to drive ethical innovation and growth

Pocket.watch is expanding its investment in artificial intelligence through key innovations. Designed to unlock new monetization opportunities for creators, these include proprietary tool Channelyzer AI, a new partnership with Troveo and pocket.watch’s contextual ad targeting engine Clock.Wise. With these advancements, the studio furthers its commitment to creator empowerment, platform efficiency and kid-safe and compliant content practices while amplifying value for streaming platforms and advertisers.

NEW TOOLS

Developed by pocket.watch, Channelyzer AI is a proprietary tool that streamlines the analysis of a creator’s YouTube channel library to optimize content for distribution on premium streaming platforms and to provide critical insights for unlocking franchise potential. By assessing thousands of hours of content, Channelyzer AI provides valuable data identifying the most engaged topics, play patterns, and recurring themes—key signals that inform consumer products expansion, mobile gaming development, and broader franchise strategy. 

Separately, pocket.watch has partnered with Troveo, the leading platform for ethical AI training content, to help creators earn revenue from the use of their videos in generative AI model training. Through this collaboration, Troveo collects, organizes and delivers content from pocket.watch creators who can opt in to license their library to trusted AI companies.

These investments build on pocket.watch’s previous AI endeavors including the debut of pocket.watch’s Clock.Wise, a tool which scales a once manual process for contextual ad targeting on YouTube Kids to drive unprecedented results for both creators and advertisers. Since launch, campaigns have seen a 3% increase in video completion rates (VCR) and a 22% increase in click-through rates (CTR) compared to traditional contextual channel targeting methods.
