"The Last Tenant"
Premiere Entertainment Group has acquired worldwide rights to thriller "The Last Tenant" starring Nicky Whelan, Ciara Hanna, Ryan Carnes, Jamie Bernadette and John Fiore. The film, produced by Hyperborea Films and LaSalle Productions, follows a newly engaged woman (Hanna) whose life unravels after the vengeful, manipulative tenant (Bernadette) living in her old apartment imposes herself into her life.
Chad Verdi Jr. and Paul Luba produced the film, along with Kendall Anlian, Anthony Gudas, Lauren Verdi, David Gere and Chelsea Vale who served as executive producers. Tom DeNucci directed from the screenplay written by Jacob Cooney and Timothy Morgan.
The rights deal was negotiated by Premiere’s manager of acquisitions Lizzy Gonzalez and producers Chad Verdi Jr. and Paul Luba.
Premiere has launched "The Last Tenant" sales at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin this week. Their sales slate includes crime thriller "Lake George" starring Shea Whigham and Carrie Coon, "Outbreak" starring Billy Burke, "Nuked" starring Justin Bartha and Anna Camp, "BFFs" starring Terrence Howard and Taye Diggs, "Singing In My Sleep" starring Jessica Belkin and Malin Akerman, and "Faith of Angels" based on a true story.
