Rainmaker Content gets worldwide sales for the 73rd Emmy Awards

More than 150 territories have acquired the special event including new clients AMC Central Europe; Catchplay+; Mediacorp; U-Next and Sky Italia.

Rainmaker Content announced a slew of sales for the Television Academy’s 73rd Emmy Awards. Hosted by Cedric The Entertainer, star and executive producer of CBS’ hit comedy "The Neighborhood", the 73rdEmmy Awards will air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday 19th September 2021.  

More than 150 territories have acquired the special event including new clients AMC Networks International – Central Europe, Catchplay+ – Indonesia & Taiwan, Mediacorp – Singapore, U-Next Co., Ltd – Japan and Sky Italia – Italy.  Returning broadcasters include Turner – Latin America, Turner – German speaking Europe, Extension TV (Series Club) – French speaking Europe, Sky UK, Telefonica – Spain, SIC – Portugal, TV2 – Denmark, M-Net – Africa, OSN – Middle East, Telenet – Belgium and A serial – CIS.  

Among the Emmy Award nominations this year "The Crown" and "The Mandalorian" have tied for the top spot for program nominations with 24 followed by "WandaVision" (23), "The Handmaid’s Tale" (21), "Saturday Night Live" (21), "Ted Lasso" (20), "Lovecraft Country" (18), "The Queen’s Gambit" (18) and "Mare of Easttown" (16).
