Secuoya Studios announced the start of a new fiction series. "Shades" (“Matices”) is the latest project from the Spanish studio in co-production with Stellarmedia, in collaboration with SkyShowtime, which will exclusively air it in all its territories. It is directed by Sergio Cánovas, who also serves as creator and executive producer alongside Javier Naya, Alex Meriweather, and María García-Castrillón.
This psychological thriller, which will be filmed between Zamora, Madrid, and the Canary Islands, stars a cast that includes Maxi Iglesias ("Valeria"), Enrique Arce ("Money Heist"), Hovik Keuchkerian ("Red Queen"), Juana Acosta ("Temperance"), Fariba Sheikhan ("The Unit"), Miriam Giovanelli ("Nacho"), Eusebio Poncela ("Merlí. Sapere Aude"), Raúl Prieto ("The Snow Girl"), Luis Tosar ("Cell 211"), and Elsa Pataky ("Furious: from the Mad Max saga").
"Shades" (“Matices”) tells the story of six patients who gather in a secluded winery to complete the treatment of a renowned, exceptional, and charismatic psychiatrist, who has become an authority in his field thanks to his famous method, which has achieved a very high cure rate among the most complex and difficult-to-rehabilitate patients. After an unusual ceremonial tasting, a fateful event occurs that gives an unexpected twist to the events. An intuitive lieutenant of the Civil Guard takes charge of the case and uncovers the truth behind the patients' traumas.
